This role focuses on developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules to ensure delivery in line with contractual requirements and company standards. You will work closely with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to provide planning expertise across all phases of the project lifecycle. Our key responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to: - Delivering best practice I&C design and documentation in alignment with the Company organisational and Client requirements Ensure that design activities are performed within allocated project budgets and time constraints to ensure tasks are delivered on time and in a cost-effective manner Lead a team of professionals, supporting and mentoring younger trainee or designers in key areas Maintain and apply a working knowledge of design standards and codes Ensure that all design deliverables have been prepared, checked and approved in accordance with the Company Quality Assurance system and drafting procedures Work in conjunction with other Discipline Designers, Engineers and supervisors to support engineering project delivery Readily take ownership of discipline design commitments and requirements on the project At Wood you will join an inclusive and diverse global community of inquisitive minds and recognised industry innovators, partnering to create new possibilities Qualifications What makes you remarkable? Ideally you will have built a career within the resources sector, within the mineral processing design of large scale greenfield/brownfield developments. You will also have: Prior experience in the in Instrumentation & Control design of mineral processing facilities Strong knowledge in applying relevant I&C industry design practices and key national and international standards and codes Good written, verbal and presentation skills, particularly the ability to communicate discipline requirements to other members of the project team Ability to deliver best practice design and drafting, with emphasis on cost-effective design Competency in Microstation and/or AutoCAD /3D Tools Knowledge of and exposure to key Clients in Mining & Minerals Please note, only applicants holding valid working rights in Australia will be considered.
